Privacy

The short version: Komoon runs on your PC. There's no Komoon account, and we never see your prompts, replies, code or files.

This website

Visits. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't follow you to other sites.
The waitlist. If you leave your email, we keep it to tell you when Komoon is ready and to send launch news. Our email service is Buttondown. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your address at any time.
Nothing else. No ads, no tracking pixels, and we don't sell or share your address.

On your PC. Your threads, settings and keys stay in Komoon's folder on your PC. Keys are given only to the agent that uses them.
Your agents. When you send a message, Komoon passes it to the agent you picked, such as Claude Code or Codex. That agent sends it to its maker under the maker's own terms. Komoon puts no server of its own in between.
Your phone. Komoon opens a private, encrypted Cloudflare link between your PC and your phone. Only phones paired through your PC's QR code can use it, and you can unpair them all at once.
Finding your PC again. If the link's address changes, Komoon posts the new one to a private ntfy.sh topic, encrypted with your pairing key, so your paired phone can find it. Nobody else can read it.
Notifications. They go through your phone browser's own push service, encrypted for your phone, and never include your prompts or replies.
Reading aloud. The online voices send the text being read to Microsoft's speech service. The offline voices keep it on your PC.
Voice notes. They're turned into text on your PC, or by OpenAI or Google if you add one of their keys for it.
Fetch. It stays off until you turn it on at the PC. It never sees AppData, SSH or cloud keys, or Komoon's own data, and every download is logged on your PC.
Updates. Komoon checks GitHub for new versions.
